The Road of Life

Everything happens for a reason.

what are those reasons?
why do somethings that we would consider "bad" or "unfortunate"
happen when we want something "good" to happen.
when everything seems to be going wrong...

everything.....Is so right...

I was asked the other day "what would be one thing you'd fear"

I thought about it for a second and knew the answer he was looking for but it wasn't my answer.

I responded that I didn't fear anything, he looked at me for awhile then was like "Oh...ok"

(I am ashamed to say the conversation didn't go any further toward why I wasn't afraid, but considering where I was you'd understand why it didn't go farther.)

other things, "bad" things, persay, have happened today.
but everything has never felt more right.

I am so confused, worried, unsure, and a little depressed at times.
but deep down I know that everything will work out the way my Father wants it to, even if I have no clue as to what's going to happen in the next five years, year, month, day or even in the next ten minutes.

He will handle things.

Trip to Nowhere

A one way ticket, the destination, nowhere.

what will happen on the way and during the stay, whatever may happen is what will happen.

the things that will be seen will be wonderful and awesome,
The sunrises and sunsets, the trees, the mountains, the sights and smells.
all the time in the world to take everything in and the appreciation of every little thing that comes your way.

the people treat you as their closest friend, conversations would go on for hours and seem like only minutes, everyone knows your name and everyone calls you friend.

No rushing, no place you have to be, no hurry.
everything is laid back and enjoyable, no nasty remarks, no traffic jams no getting cut off or cutting off.

No smoldering fires, everything burns clean and the air is fresh.
no marches of the orient, no crowds.

Beautiful waterfalls and glimmering streams, lush green mountains (at times covered with snow) that you could hike up and see the world above and below.

everything is peaceful (as peaceful as things can be in this world)

A Story

I came across this story and I really liked it.
It has a good point.

Once there were these two angels, one older and the other younger.

they were traveling through the world in physical bodies on an errand of the Lord's.

They came to a rich man's house and asked if they could stay the night, the rich man said yes and he had his butler take them down to the basement and gave them mats to sleep on.

while they were down there the older angel noticed a hole in the wall he went over to it and repaired the hole (the younger angel watched and said nothing)

the next day they headed out again and they came to a poor man's house, they asked if they could stay the night and the poor man said yes.

He gave them his own bed to sleep in and he and his wife slept on the floor, and they gave what little food they had for them to eat.

the next morning the angels woke up and the poor man's cow was dead.
Now the younger angel said to the older angel why did you not save the poor man's cow?!
And why did you, the other night, repair the hole in the wall at the house of the rich man?!

the older angel said all is not as you see it.

the other night I looked into the hole at the rich man's house and saw that there was treasure in it, and being already rich he needed no more.

so I covered the hole.

Last night the angel of death came and asked for the life of the poor man's wife.

I gave him their cow instead.

Even if things are going bad (in our eyes) things will always work out the way God planned it to work out, even if we see it as "Bad" (losing the cow) it can be "Good" (saving the wife)

All is not always as we see it.

Life Continues

Things are still some what hectic, but for the most part I'm feeling better.

I spent the early morning hours studying the bible for Sunday school.
and some things happened during that time of which I'm not to fond of (but after all this is Life) and things don't always work out the way that we want them to.

but I can know that God is in control; and His plan is by far "Better" then anything I could ever plan, even if things happen that "I" may not like, God works it all out!

but after studying I had the privilege of taking three Beautiful ladies (they may disagree with this statement but i stand by it) (who are very close to my heart) to breakfast.
and it was awesome to hang and enjoy each others company.

So even though everything has been going at the speed of light and leaving me in the dust, I still had the chance to slow down and enjoy life.

And even when something "Bad" happens something "Good" may come out of it if you don't dwell on the bad and let it eat at you, but instead just let it go and Know that God has a purpose and plan for our lives.

Catching my Breath.

Life

quality of being alive, period during which thing exists, person's history, vitality, prison sentence, course of living.

The meanings of life, according to Webster.

Life's got me down, I dunno why?
I have everything that I need or could want, but still I feel down...

Life just keeps coming and I do my best to stay close with my Master but I will be the first to admit it's tough at times (I think this is one of those times)

I just had an awesome night but now I'm just blah! and I don't like it, this is the first time in awhile that I've felt this way (well for no reason that is)

and it sucks but God is good and will help me to overcome it but the whole thing of going through it, is like uff-da :(

Greetings

I was talking with one of my friends about this the other week and it was very interesting to think about, so I'll share it.

we were talking about how at any moment we may be called into the Lords presence and leave this rock and everything it has in it.

Great for us but of those left behind the loss is still there, and the pain it brings.

but then I started to think about how we greet each other, it's so casual "Hey" "hello"
and then when we say goodbye, we think that we will see each other again soon but if you think about it, we may not....

so when we greet each other and say goodbye we should do it in a way that we won't regret anything and do it like it may be the last time we see each other, cause it may very well be.

Sneaky

For those of you who know me (like I mean have spent time and actually know me)
you will know that I can be very sneaky about certain things (i.e. planning stuff without your knowledge, taking stuff without you knowing who did it, and the list of things goes on, if I told you everything then where would I be :). )

sometimes I love to do things like that, but at other times when my services are called upon it isn't something I jump at the chance to do.

certain things are very cool to do but others are not so cool.

I guess I'm gonna have to find a, heh heh, a balance and be able to say no to some things.

but for now I'll have to work on....well deciding when I should and shouldn't do some sneaky things :D
