Trip to Nowhere

A one way ticket, the destination, nowhere.

what will happen on the way and during the stay, whatever may happen is what will happen.

the things that will be seen will be wonderful and awesome,
The sunrises and sunsets, the trees, the mountains, the sights and smells.
all the time in the world to take everything in and the appreciation of every little thing that comes your way.

the people treat you as their closest friend, conversations would go on for hours and seem like only minutes, everyone knows your name and everyone calls you friend.

No rushing, no place you have to be, no hurry.
everything is laid back and enjoyable, no nasty remarks, no traffic jams no getting cut off or cutting off.

No smoldering fires, everything burns clean and the air is fresh.
no marches of the orient, no crowds.

Beautiful waterfalls and glimmering streams, lush green mountains (at times covered with snow) that you could hike up and see the world above and below.

everything is peaceful (as peaceful as things can be in this world)

Sounds like a nice place. I think that when we look at the world through the eyes of Christ and realize that He is in control and when we have the right attitude about life, then we will find that we have arrived at the place you have described.

Because, even if someone takes this trip to nowhere, if they don't have the peace of Christ in their hearts then do they have any peace at all?
